I may be wrong, but I thought he was expected to go back to Boro.
Think it will be six months in the top flight (or maybe abroad) and then re-evaluation. If Falcao isn't performing then they'll need him.
Not sure he'd have anything to gain from another spell in the Championship, but if he flops like Chalobah then we may have a chance.

Yes, the PL/CL squads are red herrings. However, he was left out of the squad for the tour.
