genome Because Wolves were a division higher

Yes but they were practically relagated when they came in for Brian and we were top 3.

Its no difference quite honestly but you won't convince the McDermott disciples on here - perhaps the website should be named in honour of him.

This happens all the time in football - clubs show no loyalty to managers (particularly in the championship) so why should it work the other way round?

Support the club you idiots and get over it

We didn't sack Clarke in the summer, that's pretty loyal after making us worse.

At the time McDermott was on a mr Mad Man contract having recently been promoted from within. He was rocking the Championship with results and clearly wanted to show the Reading board his worth by using the Wolves interest and rightly so got an improved contract and then got us PROMOTED! Clarke just wanted a better option for himself but got oxf*rd all. Please don't compare mr "Reading Brian McDermott" to that ex Chelsea Twat Clarke.

In short; we liked Brian. We don't care about Clarke.

I do. I wasn't taken with Pardew initially. Over time I grew to respect him.
