The Bollocks Twitter Rumour Thread

by genome » 07 Jan 2016 10:23

Considering most of what's found on Twitter is fairly unsubstantiated, here's a thread to pop any rumours you spot on there so we don't clog up the boards with one page threads like my Zack Clough one. Maybe keep the rumour threads to more reputable sources like your Daily Mails, your Telegraphs, your Suns.

@Fleagueworld are running a piece that we are in for Alex Pearce on loan. There's a cracker to start off this undoubted 20-pager.

It's certainly got this fan excited.

If @ReadingFC resign Pearce.. Loan or permanent.. I will literally kill my self and never go to a #readingfc match again in my life.

Well that is complete and utter pony given we already have 6 loans and Brian likes to avoid loans if at all possible.

More likely we're looking to buy him back :o

we have kind of shot ourselves in the foot though as we can't really get in any loans until we move a few on. I would like some perm signings anyway. Pearce was ok, but no more than ok and he was a little slow wasn't he. Besides would fans want him to come back, i know i wouldn't be bothered to have him back.

We've got around £2m in our pocket and all we keep hearing about is loans. Standard transfer window.

Some fans think the club have £2 million in it's pocket and the only rumours anyone can invent are loans....

Moussa Konate

by pwb » 08 Jan 2016 01:14

Found this on Rumour site.

I think the first bit is new, I know the second has already been mentioned

"07 Jan 2016 22:10:46
Reading have made a bid of £3 million for FC Sion's Moussa Konate, as well as an initial offer of around £1 million for Gillingham's Bradley Dack."

Have seen sporadic rumours for Matt Miazga on twitter over the last few days, doesn't appear to be from anything reputable though.

He's a 20 year old New Jersey born Polish/American CB, played for Poland u18's before going through the American youth system, has one cap with the USMNT.

Has been with NYRB from u-14 and progressed into their first team, made his debut in 2013 (1 appearance -76th minute sub) had 7 games in 2014 and made himself a starter in 2015 making 26 appearances last season, scoring one goal.

Lol @ Moussa Konaté costing £3m. Good player but will go to a premier league side. Would be oxf*rd skillz if we got him. He's gas.

Seb Larsson - Unfounded Rumour

by bracksroyal10 » 11 Jan 2016 15:39

Seb Larsson anyone?

Can operate centrally and on the right wing if I recall, I see Leeds are linked with him.

Could be a great player for us to have at Championship level, dead ball specialist and if I remember rightly has a great long range shot in his locker.
