Hendo Personally, I think he would be a very good signing for Dortmund, Weidenfeller is getting on a bit and he would be playing CL football every year for them.

Hasn't he just cup-tied himself by playing last night? Does that extend to all European competitions or just the Champions League? Seemed an odd game to play him in as they want him out.

I am sure I heard somewhere that playing in a CL Quali. game doesn't cup-tie you.

Happy to be corrected if this isn't the case however.

Matuidi to Juve for €25M

One of the bargains of the summer when you compare it to the ludicrous prices the PL teams pay

I think he was under-rated at Reading, but still, that's a cracking bit of business for Watford. I assume whoever at Derby authorised that £4m on Blackman has been sacked by now.

Well, if you're going by goals scored last season as an immediate valuation, then Blackman should have been worth £10m+

I don't know how the hell our fans expect us to get in a quality striker and compete at the top end of this division with those kind of prices flying about.

Because our fans are monumentally unrealistic and have no real clue about how the football world operates/think Football Manager is real life.

Shane Duffy to Brighton for £4.5M. could be a good price for one of the divisions leading goalscorers.

That is so laughable. It does make me laugh when they use FM Stats, and I am a huge Football Manager fan, had every game since 2006 but some people need to get a grip.

Italian media say Joao Mario is joining Inter for €45M and Gabriel 'Gabigol' Barbosa is joining them for €25M

Gabigol is very much 'the new Neymar' as far as Brazil is concerned.

Stuart 'Sub' Taylor has signed for Southampton as additional cover. Just what Alex McCarthy wanted to hear.

Taylor made his Arsenal debut 19 years ago, since when he has played 75 league games, including 7 in the last 7 years. :|

To be fair, as third choice keepers go he's not bad and the manager knows he won't be knocking on his door demanding to play.

If someone paid me £5,000 a week for 20 years to spend every Saturday sitting on a bench for 90 minutes, I'd jump at the chance.

Derby offer £14M for Bristol City centre forward Jonathan Kodjia, a 26 year old who joined BC last summer and scored 19 league goals.
