All I can say is that the usual practice is to have it on the first Thursday of September so I'd guess 7/9/17 - check if that's a Thursday. If you were German you could get a towel down on a chair now.

Thanks will remember that for future reference. However, I tried it last year but the AGM turned up in early August, the year before it was in September but the year before that I believe it was late July.

According to my records STAR AGM 2014 was on 4 Sept, 2015 AGM on 3 Sept.
