Only if you ignore the Gillingham game.tidus_mi2 wrote:I guess that also means we will have played Fulham for two consecutive home fixtures, that surely doesn't happen very often.
We also played Preston in two consecutive home fixtures with the last game of the 15/16 season and the first of last season.Stranded wrote:Only if you ignore the Gillingham game.tidus_mi2 wrote:I guess that also means we will have played Fulham for two consecutive home fixtures, that surely doesn't happen very often.

No trains so little alcohol. Couldn't have been a worse day.
Will suit most of our fans though.

Good shout but I think we're ok as they are showing Sunderland v Derby on the Friday night .Top Flight wrote:Hands off our opening game away to QPR Sky Sports. I don't want you moving it. The first Saturday of the season on a hot August day away to QPR is a game that I am definitely looking forward to. Don't ruin it Sky.
I looked for those 4 as well, incidentally the day before my birthday we play Forest at home.Maneki Neko wrote:this^^Winston Biscuit wrote:first, last, birthday & boxing day are the 4 fixtures I always hunt for first

Agreed re cricket - this is a fantastic result - normally have to miss two or three!Hendo wrote:Only missing 1 home game this year because of cricket![]()
Only one I am slightly annoyed with is Bolton away on a Tuesday night, guy I play cricket with is a Bolton fan, Saturday would've made it easy to go.

Wouldn't get too excited about this game, I believe the main squad are meant to be flying back from Holland on 22nd July so I would imagine this friendly is going to be for youngsters and those recovering from injuries or not in Jaap's plans.Top Flight wrote:Gunny Fishcake wrote:Good shout but I think we're ok as they are showing Sunderland v Derby on the Friday night .Top Flight wrote:Hands off our opening game away to QPR Sky Sports. Yep. Good news. I'm already looking forward to this season now. It's going to be some ride. For me it starts on July 22nd away to Wealdstone. I'm surprised the Reading FC website hasn't announced any friendlies yet. Some have clearly been arranged.

Yeah, I know that. It'll be Under 23s. But I remember watching a pre season friendly once, back in the day away to Tooting and Mitcham. On the pitch were the likes of Gylfi Sigurdsson, Michail Antonio, Andre Bikey, Scott Davies and others....Sutekh wrote:Wouldn't get too excited about this game, I believe the main squad are meant to be flying back from Holland on 22nd July so I would imagine this friendly is going to be for youngsters and those recovering from injuries or not in Jaap's plans.Top Flight wrote:Gunny Fishcake wrote:
