Committed to spending around £160M on a player in the next financial year so if they sell a few next year then the net spend on those is lower than some PL clubs.

Caveat - I know it's not as simple as those reported numbers as clubs report their finances in 'clever' ways but still, bring in pretty much only those 2 expensive players and sell some and it doesn't look bad in comparison to some other clubs.

So it'll rumble on with no action for another couple of years for their appeal then. Whilst they bet the farm on getting back into the PL to get out of the FL's jurisdiction.

Really, given how much they've tried to weasel their way out of this having knowingly and deliberately broken the rules for their own gain, they should just get kicked out and wound up. I'm sure a successor club could get up to at least the Conference in about 10 years having started from scratch like AFC Wimbledon.

Cambridge Utd may be one to watch for this.

Don't own their ground, planning permission for a sports complex fell through, so the owner may have cooling interest.
Their Chairman just resigned, including from the Board of Directors.
Their Financial Director left on the quiet recently from what I'm told.
And I'm informed that someone else senior (I think the Chief Exec) is on gardening leave pending investigation for threatening to ruin Derry's career if he didn't get them up the table.

Spend big in the summer under their new Chinese owner, UEFA decide to investigate the new owner as they are unsure about the loans he says he has bought the club with, the owner says all is legit so nothing to worry about......and then submits a request to UEFA to be exempt from FFP as they are going to fall foul quite badly and can't afford the fines that will come with it. lolwut!

It's been heavily reported that there is already a deal in place to take Griezmann to Barca this summer for €100M but they are reportedly touting Niguez around for a lot of money too. Didn't realise they built and moved to their new ground without selling the old one. It's still up for sale with the asking price reportedly dropped to €250M
