Bit late as we'd have virtually no chance to sell the tickets but I'll pass the message on.The Reverend wrote:Just reading up on the Waterloo fun and games. Wish I'd known earlier.
Any chance STAR adding a last minute coach?
This Saturday just gone I checked this site for live departure boards, everything was running on time, having said that services from Reading to Paddington are going to be disrupted this week because of rail upgrades. so the Waterloo trains may be very busy. The Reverend wrote:Just reading up on the Waterloo fun and games. Too late for another coach, I'm afraid. I've done Brentford from Paddington before and it wasn't a nightmare that has stuck in my mind as a 'never again'.STAR Liaison wrote:Bit late as we'd have virtually no chance to sell the tickets but I'll pass the message on.The Reverend wrote:Just reading up on the Waterloo fun and games. It's just rail disruption rather than total cancellation??
You can go to Ealing Broadway and Uber/Taxi it from there - roughly £10-15 last time I did it and it's on the Paddington line so may be a lot easier for you?The Reverend wrote:No worries - as you say, not the end of the world to do it from Padders/Ealing. Taking my old man and the walk's a bit far from the tube but we can Uber it I guess
