Does anyone remember winger John Docherty or know anything about his time at Reading? He signed from Brentford for £12,000 in March 1968 and stayed for two years until returning to Brentford in March 1970.

I'm writing an article about him but I don't have any info about his time at Reading.

I'm too "new" to use the messaging facility unfortunately. I know he played 45+1 league games (7 goals) but just wondered if he did anything of note during his stay?

John Docherty is a member at Ogbourne Downs Golf Club near Marlborough in Wiltshire and is an annoying, arrogant know-it-all idiot.
To listen to him, you'd think his managerial career rivalled Shankly, Paisley and Clough....

He's a rubbish golfer too.
