Soulless identikit bowl seems to be code for well built modern stadium with good facilities from anyone in tired old stadium slung together in bits and pieces.

You know why they all look the same now? Because they're well designed.
We may have a soulless identikit bowl but it was one of the first soulless identikit bowls. It's not our fault other clubs nicked our design. :P
Is REP dead by the way? Would have changed the dynamic quite a bit, along with Green park station being opened

Maybe instead of pants day or inflatables day we should have a Walking Dead day
(especially if we are in the bottom three.)

We have 11 on the pitch to start with.

Who cares what these fans think. It’s not as if the likes of Bristol City, Millwall etc have done much in their time.

Objection your honour...wish we had had Millwalls record in the top flights and FA Cup in the past 30 years

Fed the game some big hitting players too.

Oh they got to the final but we reached a semi final. Have they been in the top flight for more than three seasons?

In the past 30 years in total?

Yes (6 seasons)

Football didn’t begin in 1992 :)

I can barely remember them playing in the top flight. My memory is not what it once was.

I would imagine that you've never heard reading called 'The Biscuitmen' either?

Nope, for someone who has about 5 generations of family living in the Reading area, 2 generations before me (that I know of) having season tickets at Elm Park and having a keen interest in history, I never knew that Reading used to be called the Biscuitmen.

But you carry on making your assumptions.

Portman Road is pretty good to be fair. Like a shit St James's Park: town centre location, walking distance from the station with a good away pub. The view is poor though and it's way overpriced but I could imagine it would be good for a home fan.

I wonder how much they will be charging next season?

I don't mind Portman Road. I think if the tickets were 10 quid cheaper then many of the grumbles about the ground wouldn't be so vociferous, 35 quid is far too much for what it is.

Maybe their opponents have the same issue, in which case there might be a tactical reason for the kit colour.
