genome Shteve McClaren gone apparently

Excellent news! I think they have taken something like 4 points this year! Were just outside the playoffs late last year

I don't see it as "excellent news" as they are a team that could still be dragged into the relegation dog-fight (the more, the merrier) so they might get a bit of new manager/form bounce now that McLaren has gone.

Rotherham are the only threat to us. QPR are irrelevant.

So long as they beat Millwall, I don't care what else they do.

Looking at his record as a manager..... how the pfuck does he keep getting employed by teams?! He had one good spell in charge of Middlesbrough and that's it. (And twente winning the league but come on, dutch football is on par with Scottish football)

I read somewhere that he promised a bit of financial investment for them if he got the job. Think that helped them bring Wells and Hemed before the window shut last August. By all accounts McLaren is a good coach but he isn't a manager, bit like Clement.

That may be so and I'm not trying to make McLaren out to be some sort if management genius because he's clearly not, but winning the Dutch League with Twente would be akin to winning the Premier League with Watford. And if Dutch football is on par with Scotland, could you see last seasons SPL runners up (Aberdeen) winning 4-1 away to Real Madrid?

McLeish sacked by Scotland. Surely they'll go for Steve Clarke this time round.

Be facing a tricky job there as believe QPR are still massively struggling under FFP rules but then Brentford were hardly rolling in it and he did OK there...

Harsh. he is a good manager and done a good job with them (despite signing 7 or 8 useless players in the summer). They wont ever get anything higher then 15th so it's a weird one.

Not really - he nearly suffered the fate he seems to in the PL - getting relegated in his 2nd season - arguably if the officials had done their job against Chelsea then Cardiff would have survived.

With him in charge, Brighton would be favourites to drop next season - new voice needed there.

Hughton is a great Championship manager and will undoubtedly get another job there and get someone promoted.
