Thought Smith-Row looked excellent when Huddersfield played us the other week, but don't know a lot about the rest.Sutekh wrote:All courtesy of the EP staff and seem quite reasonable to me. So debate away...

Smith-Rowe would certainly be of interest if available though
Or if he comes with a 1970s Pontiac Firebird (in bronze if course)From Despair To Where? wrote:James Garner? I'd rather have Jim Rockford.

Oliver Skipp has actually been linked to us as per the Evening Standard. Southampton, Forest and Fulham all very keen. Fulham are leading the race but any promotion will hinge the deal.TiagoIlori wrote:Surprised he hasn’t mentioned Oliver Skipp who I think will be highly sought for this summer. Herbie Kane is also an option, one of the few bright sparks in that Hull side.

29 Jul 2020 08:22Josh Bowler aswell but he is an unusual situation in being released from Everton but he also was good for Hull this season did his best to fill the Bowen role.TiagoIlori wrote:Surprised he hasn’t mentioned Oliver Skipp who I think will be highly sought for this summer. 29 Jul 2020 09:45Yeah cannot see this happening at all. Spurs will want him playing Premier League football if possible, certainly wouldn't want him at a midtable Championship side I wouldn't have thought.genome wrote:Skipp would be a big coup. He's far too good for the Championship.
Depends though, they might think that playing week in, week out in the Championship will be better for his development rather than just sitting on the bench and getting a few minutes here and there for a premier league team that would be amongst the favourites to go down.Old Man Andrews wrote:Yeah cannot see this happening at all. 29 Jul 2020 10:13If that is the case, which it could be, then I think they will be looking for a Championship side that will be challenging for promotion. I'd obviously like him here but there are better clubs around who will be interested.Hendo wrote:Depends though, they might think that playing week in, week out in the Championship will be better for his development rather than just sitting on the bench and getting a few minutes here and there for a premier league team that would be amongst the favourites to go down.Old Man Andrews wrote:Yeah cannot see this happening at all. Yes, he would be training with better players but if that is the goal, he might as well stay at Spurs get a few minutes off the bench in the premier league and have a chance of playing in Europa league.

However, Spurs would rather loan him to the Championship and see him get 40+ games under his belt, which is very unlikely if Fulham go up. So if Fulham go up, we have a chance but even then we'd be one of many options. Don't hold your breath; I still want to see Fulham fluff the playoffs.
