26 Aug 2020 10:27Performances and results post lock down were a very long way from 'OK' and may well have led to the Dai's questioning whether Bowen really is the type of coach/manager who can deliver their ambitions. Timing could've been better, although they might have been waiting until they had his replacement lined up, particularly as they are still happy to have Bowen at the club in some form of football related role. From Despair To Where? wrote:Is there actually any substance in the rumours of Bowen moving upstairs other than a few local journos spaffing about on Twitter?
Bowen's done an OK job as manager and I think he's good for the club so actually seeing him move to a role with a bit more job security wouldn't be a to bad as long as we replaced him with someone with a bit of nous.
One thing for sure though, the level of clarity and communication from the club is appalling.

I'm much worse than Westwood, trust me.Old Man Andrews wrote:This Millsy character might be up there as one of the worst posters I have seen on the teamboard. I mean he will never quite get to Westwood's level but he is having a go.

26 Aug 2020 11:01Little different to the fans questioning what Dai actually knows about football. Whether Reading is simply a plaything in an attempt to break into the Premiership, and all the riches that will go with it.RoyalBlue wrote:Performances and results post lock down were a very long way from 'OK' and may well have led to the Dai's questioning whether Bowen really is the type of coach/manager who can deliver their ambitions. From Despair To Where? wrote:Is there actually any substance in the rumours of Bowen moving upstairs other than a few local journos spaffing about on Twitter?
