Have you been back to the doctors? Need to get yourself thoroughly checked over. It does seem that with some people this virus lingers far longer than would be expected.Snowball wrote:Hound wrote:zero social distancing going on there. Bloody youngsters
Covid-wise do we know which players have had it?
I ask because I’m a long-hauler and still can’t exercise after six months
The two 17-year old asylum seekers who live with me seem fine but when they play football they need a break after 15 minutes.
They (and me) could play kick about for three hours last summer. In my case that was after a ten mile morning walk.
Now I couldn’t run a bath.
I haven’t heard of any pro players with Long-Covid but 10-15% of people who get 19 go on to be “sick” for many months
One of them had heavy sweats and both had coughs which they said were smokers coughs, but they didn't have them before or since, so my guess is they had it.Hound wrote:very sorry to hear that Snowball. Did the two lads get it as well?
Just hope your body recovers longer term. And no, only know of the publicised players. Think Boye and Gilkes got it last year? Not heard of any players being particularly ill, though think Charlie Austin(?) said he got it quite badly
Jeez, yes. But like 99% of others with this problem, blood tests come back normal, ECG normal, lung X-rays normalZip wrote: Have you been back to the doctors? Need to get yourself thoroughly checked over. It does seem that with some people this virus lingers far longer than would be expected.

I've given bloods four times, two X-rays, a day in hospital as a day-patient,
same results, my X-ray is as good as one taken in 2007, ECG "perfect'
The hospital things, as the consultant says, is "Not like House"
They merely do extensive bloods, look for clots, heart attack, stroke, thyroid function,
lung cancer. ie they tick off the bad shit. I gad a ridiculous spike (30 hours) in my BP 229/109
whereas I'm normally 125/75
on a Lonnnnnng waiting list now for chest deep investigations.
I rarely feel "ILL" but I am so tired it's laughable. Feel like I've aged 15 years in six months.
