The Adkins podcast is excellent. I feel like he was right, if they gave him that season to play the academy lads we would have been in a really string position after.
Considering all we know about AZ now, it does feel like Adkins was screwed over and got a kneejerk reaction sacking after the thrashing by Birmingham. Think we would have done well if we stuck with him.

Interesting the Howard interview; claims he was told he'd start against Swansea in the playoff final to match them in midfield, but was then left out.

Agree - really enjoyed it, great questions and lots of info on his earlier life too. He was in the year below me at Stoneham school, Tilehurst (now Prospect)

Yeh really good. An interesting character to say the least
Mention of Prospect Park reminds me of horrific cross country runs at school and lagging behind till I could cut corners.
