Didn’t fill the “no striker” or “no pace” hole (although I guess Hoilett was meant to provide that) so who knowsStranded wrote:This. I'm not going to worry about next season until I see what next seasons squad looks like.AthleticoSpizz wrote:He replaces them....that’s how it works isn’t it?
No reason to doubt how he would fill those “holes”
We're all pretty much agreed we've made decent signings based on our restrictions so we may well do so again.
That’s for the scouts/club to find. We seemed to find almost every other position pretty easilyAthleticoSpizz wrote:Who was available? Genuine question.
It's not that they didn't try but as we were tied to loans or free transfers on relatively small wages the pool was small. We were either reliant on a Prem club sending us a young striker and paying his wages for us or a free transfer willing to sign for a year. Looks like we tried for Carroll but didn't happen.URZZZZ wrote:That’s for the scouts/club to find. We seemed to find almost every other position pretty easilyAthleticoSpizz wrote:Who was available? Puscas is trying but it’s the same story each time. He simply can’t score or hold the ball up which for a lone striker is a major problem
Nope. He’s out injured for a number of months.Snowflake Royal wrote:Even McNulty would be an option at this point
Even more reason to bring him back, he would fit in nicely here.Zip wrote:Nope. He’s out injured for a number of months.Snowflake Royal wrote:Even McNulty would be an option at this point
