Brazilians not supporting Brazil.

by Millsy » 18 Jun 2014 23:06

I always thought they were quite arrogant, but I had an interesting chat today with a Brazilian chap who is dead against the world cup being held in Brazil, claiming there's been widespread corruption with funds being embezzled by their leader.

Nothing new.

But what was new to me was that he doesn't even want Brazil to win, claiming there's corruption in the football with refs being paid to help Brazil win, giving the Croatian penalty decision as an example.

Interesting.

Their new leader Lula served time for any corruption, and was released and allowed to stand again. If you think he is bad the guy that replaced him, Bolsonaro, made Trump look like the most honest man in the world. One suspects this chap was a Bolsonaro fan.

Flipping hell. Does this get HNA's record for the most delayed response? I don't even remember this chat I had.

Interesting info though, thanks.
