That only applies to a player not under a professional contract, we might have already tied him down to a pre-contract agreement, hence why we can ask for £1m

Yeah I would be ok with him coming back, he should be a decent L1 keeper

Completely disagree, 22/30 for save % last season, 51/51 for Expected goals conceded, first stat excludes keepers who haven't made enough appearances, lowest had 16 games.

I just don't think he's very good at all.

Not a particularly good keeper in a season where he, mostly, cut out the stupid errors that had previously blighted his career.

Good enough for L1, but young enough he'll block CBC and Andresson. I can't see his wage demands matching his ability.

We could do worse, but we should be trying to reduce the number of failures from last season in our squad, not increasing them.

If the Wilder rumour does end up being true then given he was the manager that shifted him out on loan to us last summer, I doubt there would be much of an appetite to bring Lumley in.

That would be more credible if we were still Championship, but L1 is a different level and you're looking at a different quality for L1 promotion vs Champ promotion.
