This match would've been better played tomorrow. Shocking scrappy Sunday league stuff.

Nobody expected us to hit the ground running. I'd say there are signs of encouragement today. But miss chances and it only takes 1 moment to lose

Yeah a few losses on the bounce and confidence will be shot.

We're playing one of the best teams in the league. We'll pick up a few wins against lesser opposition. And later in the season we should be capable of beating teams like Posh too.

Not sure this doomongering is necessary! A 46-game season isn’t defined by the first month. If that was the case then Reading and QPR would be in the Premiership and Forest in League One

Yeah no shame losing just a frustrating second half.

Not doomongering at all but it’s decided on small margins, and it doesn’t take a lot before the whole thing falls down.

Overall I’m encouraged by what I see, but still maintain that the defence is rubbish and goals could be a problem.

Tbf I would read into the fake Hoops' result today. Hoops derby next year.

Shows the need for more reinforcements. Decent performance in patches, energy in the middle but not enough cutting edge. You can blame Dai for making us operate under the embargo.

Selles - lost 11 out of 17 games with Southampton.

Then lost every preseason game for us. All (bar one) by 2 goals.

And now lost his only league game, at home against a vastly weaker opposition.

Is Bullivant free?

Against losing play off semi finalists with a half assembled, undercooked team :|
