Man, we get way too many updates nowadays. Bring back the days of checking Ceefax for completed transfers when you get home from school or work.

There isn't a particular rush to get the Kane deal done, not sure why him not travelling today makes any difference.

would love it if we find out in the future that these deals are rushed through in dramatic style due to outside people funding part of the deals

Twitter 2%
FlightTracker24 - 1%
Fabrizio Romano - 0.5%

etc

Levy : 'make sure we script it that he is stuck at the airport for at least 8 hours while some drama between us happens otherwise Stanstead Airport won't agree to pay their 0.2% of the transfer fee'

Lots of fallout from the Caicedo saga.

- Amidst talk that the player hasn't been wholly professional behind the scenes, De Zerbi says that he has 'already forgotten' the player.
- Liverpool apparently furious as they verbally agreed terms with the player's agent. Manuel Sierra, last night before tabling their bid, only for Sierra to ask the player to hold this morning whilst he got back in touch with Chelsea.
- Caicedo wants to keep Liverpool move open for the possibility that Chelsea don't increase their offer.

There could be more than the usual edge to the game at Stamford Bridge on Sunday.
I went to the fixture shortly after Fernando Torres had moved to Chelsea and Liverpool won 1-0; the same result would do on Sunday.

Another great advert for agents.

NathStPaul It is a huge shame for English football imo, huge loss to the league.

Feels like there's a real lack of quality strikers in the Prem now. Haaland. And... that's it. Maybe it's been like that for a while, but only really noticed it when I was doing my fantasy team.

Indeed. Some much collateral. On Liverpool's side, Romeo Lavia thought he was getting a dream move, but is now a spare part until the Caicedo stuff is over. And for Chelsea, they have called off Tyler Adams' transfer from Leeds despite the player having already completed a medical, with funds needed for a higher Caicedo bid.

Meanwhile agent Sierra rumoured to be getting much, much, much more from a Chelsea deal than he would from Liverpool.

Sanguine Re Caicedo vs. Bellingham, one essential difference in the transfers is the level of wages, bonuses, signing fees and agents fees associated with any Bellingham transfer that don't exist to the same extent with Caicedo.

It's a cracking signing - and totally hilarious that they have taken him from under Chelsea's nose.

Daniel Levy is taking the piss out of Harry Kane.

No way worth 111 mill

There isn't a footballer on this planet worth even a tenth of that. Just shows how mad the game has become. I keep waiting/hoping for the bubble to burst but it never does, and with the Saudi's now sniffing around, LIV Football may make it all worse.

Is that where Martin Tyler has gone …. “and it’s LIV”

genome Spurs' main ITK on Twitter claiming Kane deal is done and he will be on his way soon. £100m rising to £120m with add-ons.

That's a great price tbh for a 30 year old in his final year of his contract.

It is a great fee but who do they replace him with? Virtually irreplaceable in that side.

But he was never going to stay beyond a year. Put it another way. Would you play £100m + wages to have a player on loan for a year, however good they are?

They may as well face up to the challenge of replacing him with money in the bank.

How far short of the record is he ?
How close would likely have been at the end of the season ?
He just may have stayed if he was close

Would we get a sell on fee for him? With talk of £3m, even 10% would be a good for us.
