CountryRoyal Starting to believe wba fans re button, a few good saves but by and large shocking.

At fault for 4 of the last 5 goals and cost us at least 2 points.

Yes, it is only 2 points so not the end of the world.
The shame is that up till then he had a decent game-why he chose to punch rather than catch the ball seems a bit odd.

2 weeks until the next league game -everybody needs a break and Selles might not be in charge at Charlton IMHO.

He'll probably get another month when we smash Swindon 7-0 in the pizza cup, before getting a single point from 4 in the league.

I have got my Charlton ticket, but I’m honestly not sure I can face another away shit show. All we hear is talk, talk, talk before the game and the game starts and we’re oxf*rd fast asleep AGAIN. Selles is absolutely oxf*rd clueless and I can’t see how we can turn it around.

WestYorksRoyal Hard disagree with singing "Not fit to wear the shirt" at the players. Most of these are kids at the start of their careers who are being badly let down by a manager who is clueless at a total shit show of a club.

Obviously understand the fans frustration but its a bit harsh on the players especially young lads like Carson and Bindon its not their fault. Because as you say they are being let down by a manager with shit tactics and that they are playing for club which is in a complete and utter mess.

100% this.

Except maybe Button.

True. I was at Northampton on Tuesday and all 3 goals were his fault, obviously. Hard to pick which was the all time worst goalkeeping performance in a Reading shirt between that and Lumley at Rotherham last season which I also had the misfortune to witness live in the away end.

All the potential buyers are probably watching this lowering their bids to reflect a possible L2 club. Get something good happening on the pitch and the chaos off it may be resolved more quickly.

I'm not old enough mate. My first games were in the early 2000s and earliest Reading memories are us being promoted from the 3rd tier then reaching the play offs and losing to Wolves. I haven't quite hit 30 yet so I should have considered my age with that "of all time" post I just thought 3 howlers in one game would be hard to top.

Terrible keeper, but I don’t recall him ever punching the ball in his own net three times in one game.

I don't think Button was there to face thr music. Or Dean. It was left to the kids. So once again we seem to have senior players who are not stepping up as leaders off the pitch either.

This club is absolutely rotten. Who knows where the bottom is. At least only 2 get relegated from L2.

The older players walked back to the tunnel (presumably because they know they don't need to do self flagellation, coz it's a bit weird.. So you had 5 academy players just standing there taking shit, not knowing what to do. That's where the club captain should send them in and take the heat.

I do remember him going to clear a long ball, missing it, and taking out Dariusz Wdowczyk instead, putting him out for several months...and the mistake left the opposition forward with an open goal tap-in.

Before my time, but my friends told me about it plenty. Apparently Darius was never quite the same after.

Probably not... Where's he going to sit... can't trust him on the bench.

The Simon Sheppard taking out a player incident I remember was a sunny home game

Photos before terrible events.

Not ruling out that he did it again.

Here's another iconic Simon Sheppard moment for free ,,,
