Pepe the HorsemanNathStPaul This is both shocking and scandalous in equal measure. Smaller clubs once again completely robbed of exposure and money.
Who the fcuk wants to watch Palace v Everton, other than Palace and Everton fans?

And, as usual, ManU are live as it's the FACup. Struggle to remember the last time a ManU FA Cup game wasn't on the telly. Perhaps someone should tell the TV companies that ManU aren't "all that" any more.

From Despair To Where?Royal Rother Possibly.
But I do find it surprising that the most successful manager of all time has had an almost unbroken succession of failures in management from his pupils. It seems like the longer a player was with him, the less likely they are to be successful in management.
And pretty much the same applies to his succession of No 2s.
At the very least I find it odd because I would have expected it to be the other way around.
I think it points more to those who have stellar playing careers not necessarily making the best managers.
Having said that, Hughes, Strachan and Bruce have had almost unbroken managerial careers lasting in excess of 20 years.

NathStPaul I think it would be a good idea for one of the competitions rules to be whoever the lowest ranked team is in round 3 get the first game of the round on live TV. Great incentive for non-league teams.

This would make so much sense.
I totally get why ITV want to show the big teams as they are a commerical station and only get a very few chances each year to show them but the BBC really should give up one slot to a game where either a low ranking team are in or a giantkilling is possible i.e. Gillingham V Sheffield Utd - even if it isn't a glamour tie.

Sanguine If Villa make it 15 wins in a row at home and beat Arsenal, do we have to start talking about them as title contenders?
Also, given timing of fixtures, if United beat Bournemouth tomorrow they will go level on points with City, which is ridiculous given how absolutely dire they have been this season. They do find a way to scrape out wins.

If they can keep the good run going until January and bring in a couple of top players I think they in the hunt.
Emery is a criminally underrated manager imo, he's right up there with the best in the business for me.
YorkshireRoyal99 Whoever said Aston Villa might be a candidate for the top 4 this season doesn't watch football correctly.
