Pepe the Horseman Laura Woods

I used to really like her but she's really unpleasant on Twitter and her opinions are just a bit extreme

I think she was ok in small doses, then got really annoying when she was everywhere all at once.

Everyone finds her gorgeous, but I think she's a bit weird looking.

There I said it

katweslowski Sure this has been mentioned before, but Peter Drury can feck right off. I am sick of him covering the big game every Sunday.

He absolutely screams the players name everytime they have a chance at goal. Anyone that hasn't heard him probably thinks "Of course he does that, it's a key moment" - but it's not, it's artificial and really over-the-top.

He seems to be held up as some sort of commentating demigod but he's absolutely shite beyond belief. He's comes out with the most scripted, insincere, self indulgent shower of verbal arse gravy.

I oxf*rd hate him.

As for the post, Lineker debate, it will be Chapman, who's a solid all rounder but if I had to pick an ex pro, Joe Hart always comes across well, albeit, he's quite new to the punditry game.

This.

And the trans-hating stuff on Twitter was a shame.

Anybody else getting even more fed up with Carragher.
He is so critical of Liverpool even when they are 8 points clear at the top, even more so than Neville is about Man Utd.

Yesterday he was droning on about Saints playing suicidal football from the back.
They, like a lot of other clubs probably don't have the players to do it well.
In yesterday's game McCarthy was blamed for giving the ball to Fernandes who was then dispossessed but one of his defenders was telling him to do it.
On a positive note for Saints, it was McCarthy's quick ball to Fraser that led to their breakaway goal-neither the commentator nor Carragher picked up on that , playing the ball from the back rather than hitting it long.

The trouble with these lesser sides is that nearly all their players are back defending so if it goes long there is nobody there and the opposition can build again.

Reading between the lines of their statement I wouldn't be surprised to see Eni Aluko let go by ITV

Quoted, to save people having to look - as I had to (poor nobbing genome  ):

"As one of the UK's most respected and much-loved footballers and sporting broadcasters, with a career spanning nearly four decades, Ian is an incredible advocate, ally and brilliant broadcaster of women’s football from a grassroots level as well as at the highest international competitions."

I really hope she is let go by them. I really don't like her at all, and think she's putting more people off the women's game. She also says some completely ridiculous things about games, where it makes the women's sport look stupid. It therefore plays into the narrative of some that women's football isn't serious and we should all ignore it.

For her to mention Ian is a monumental error - of epic proportions. A man who firstly is widely and well regarded, as both being kind, genuine, loving and good humoured. Not only that but he continually supports the women's game and has paid for treatment of one woman footballer who needed a year of physical therapy. He's also been a pundit on the men's games and mid-sentence dropped some references to the women's games in, clearly demonstrating knowledge and helping once again to raise its profile.

She's damaging to the sport in my view and I'm sick of seeing and hearing about her - even before this.

Alan Shearer has to be one of the most intolerable commentators going. He's so difficult to listen to, he speaks in endless cliches and he kind of talks in a weirdly distorted voice when trying to make a point.

I saw online lots of positive comments about Rooney which I agree with. Seeing him on lots of things like the "stick to football" podcast, "the overlap", and some games as a pundit, he comes across as very likable. He's funny, surprisingly talks very well, makes really good observations, looks very neutral and says it how it is.

Who the f**k thought giving Daniel Sturridge some presenting (or at least 'lead pundit') position was a good idea?!

I think we all agree whatever training course that TV execs go on for learning how to pick new pundits isn't fit for purpose.
