As an example, there will be a similar level of expectation for whoever has to replace Salah when he leaves

Salah now has 41 goal contributions (25 goals, 16 assists). A decent wide forward would be happy enough with 16 goals in total

Yep, makes no sense. The savings must be tiny but the benefits of GLT are clear and obvious.

But if its only called into action 5 times a season per division....

It's not, though. It's continuously monitoring. Every time the ball goes close to the line and it doesn't "beep" it's still doing its job and adding value. And because it's there, the lino and referee can be less vigilant about the goalline and better focus their attention on other aspects of the game.

How's that working out?

Oh dear, Dorku proving to be a great signing. First assists Philogene then gets carried away with Hutchinson’s leg…. :?

Is Ruben Amorim to United what Brendan Rodgers was to Reading?

Rodgers is an excellent manager. During his time at Reading he rigidly stuck to a system that didn't work with the players at his disposal.

At the moment Amorim to Utd is more like Rooney to Birmingham.

Watching that turgid mess yesterday I kept thinking United are proper shite but they're going to win the cup thanks to Bruno doing one good thing per game, but then they shit the bed in the shootout. Maybe they'll win the UEFA cup and Brobes can claim it's been a great season

There are currently 12 senior players available. What other system could be used?

3 in the middle? Who plays with Ugarte? Casemiro and Erikson have no legs, Bruno not a midfielder, Colyer & Mainoo injured

Garnacho is the only winger available

We finished with a 17-year-old who is clearly not ready!

Amorin didn't want to come in until the Summer. This would have enabled him to recruit his own players and determine which current players fit into his system.

I wonder how Bruno will look back on his career, giving his prime years to captaining Man Utd's slide down the PL table

All recent Utd games have been that boring to watch (Fulham didn't help tbf)

I'd bite your hand off for the UEFA cup and CL qualification. Shirley, you'd LOL if that meant Chelsea or Man City didn't

Yeah, he should have a few decent seasons playing at a different club. He creates chances but Utd don't put them away.

Luckily we didn't spend £100M+ on two strikers :?

Jim Ratcliffe: 'We're buying Antony, we're buying Casemiro, we're buying Onana, Hojlund, Sancho. We've inherited these things. These are things from the past. Some of them aren't good enough, some are overpaid.'

Crikey.

United announce plans to build a circus tent. Sorry, apparently it's a football stadium it just looks like a circus tent.

At the same time as cutting out staff canteen perks, United announce plans to leave Old Trafford, and move to a new state of the art 100,000-seater stadium.

Outside looks odd. Inside looks awesome.
