Sutekh Practically 5pm and still nothing from the FL, what’s going on? Have the club not provided something? Have the FL decided to throw the club out but don’t know how to say it? or is it just clueless organisation?

Are they perhaps just dealing with the volume of work from a double bank holiday weekend?

We're not out until they throw us out. So whether they announce an extension or not is largely immaterial. The only thing that matters is have they kicked us out the League? Not yet.

Disagree. They are well aware of the emotional suffering g some fans are going through. They know every single Reading fan is waiting for this update. There is nothing more important going on for the EFL at this very moment than telling the fans if we still have a club in the league. I know you want to stick up for them at every opportunity, and I have in the past but blaming the lack of a quick update with what’s going on because of Easter is ridiculous ian. Read the room. I actually think it’s bang out of order it’s been left this late also.
….not to mention the turmoil for the clubs employees

Unlike Ian the cheerleader in chief for the EFL to make excuses for them.

Sorry Brogue, just calling it how I see it. And no one is going to base their decision making on this based on fan expectation and emotional suffering.

Yes I know it’s your view. You’re the only person who holds that view…. Which says something.

The efl have been oxf*rd over by dai I don’t blame them for any of this mess. Unlike the many others who do blame them.

I’ve fully supported your support for them. But I think this is unacceptable, and even thier most staunch supporter should too.

Well, I'm not changing my mind just because you don't like it.

No, that would mean accepting you’re wrong. And you don’t do that. Ever. Even when your wrong

Sorry Brogue, that's incorrect.

And there isn’t a right or wrong here, it's personal opinion and preference, not objective.

Gone 5:30 now. Most updates in the past have been between 4:30/5 or 5:30pm

Unsure if it's good, bad or indifferent there's still absolutely nothing said

I mean, could it be the EFL are still waiting for some kind of documentation from the club before they can consider an extension?

I know this is stupidly hopeful, but it would make sense in some ways that an announcement is delayed until late as the deal is being completed today

I think this is unlikely but part of it makes sense
