windermereROYAL 5 defeats on the bounce 8 in the last 10 for Huddersfield, the last 2 after leading, who`s hopeful?
Nope - if we win there can't be many cases of sides missing out on 78 points.

genome If Huddersfield don`t get beat by Orient I’ll forgive them for 2017.

From Despair To Where? I think we're more likely to drop points to Barnsley than Orient are to Huddersfield.

WestYorksRoyal Those graphs look like cycles to me.
I can say the Reading cycles of my lifetime easily:
Early SJM at Elm Park: Hopeful, valiant but not with the infrastructure to compete. Ends with the blip of relegation.
SJM at Mad Stad: Starts with a blip under Tommy Burns, but generally sustained success and our best period.
Post SJM part 1: Consistent decline and mediocrity, probably ending around the Covid time.
Dai crisis era: Not much to say, except it's ending in the next few weeks for better or worse, and you can see green shoots of recovery.
There are ups and downs within all of these, like 16/17 and 20/21 for us. But you can also see the big picture. Every club has cycles. Ask Man Utd, Man City or Wrexham.
I'm hoping our next one will be a positive rebuild cycle.
