At one point his lawyers were suing him for non payment of their invoices.PieEater Does Dai even have any lawyers to negotiate on his behalf with?

Surely more a matter of money changing hands and paperwork being signedElm Park Kid I got a brief reply from my source this morning along the lines of "Everyone's calm and confident. Just a matter of time".

Hound Just a thought - but wonder if the playing staff would rather not have any announcements etc before the game to let them focus on the task in hand
It would of course be a positive vibe but also a big distraction

WestYorksRoyal It doesn't seem feasible to me for a deal to be done and them keeping a lid on it. There are too many people involved and there's too much focus on it. I expect it'll be announced immediately.

Players will probably know already, if a deal is nearly over the line. Would be one hell of an atmosphere in a near full stadium if it were announced beforehand.

Yeah I don’t mean keeping it from the players
As a player would you rather the crowd focus solely on the game and getting you over the line or singing about Dai Yongge?
Only a thought as I said but I do seem to remember the Dai takeover being announced during or after the Fulham play off semi. Different situation of course but still some relevance

People need to calm the oxf*rd down. 1 day without an update and you turn into a bunch of bed wetting children. Most of you are grown oxf*rd adults . Jesus. The deal is signed. Like I’ve been saying all along. #readingfc just wait.

I have to admit I find him quite entertaining.
