We're playing Thatcham and Basingstoke on the same day! Poor scheduling as Reading fans will go to both in decent numbers

Neither have big grounds, a few hundred Reading fans at each won’t really be an issue. We played at Thatcham a couple of years ago and there weren’t very many Reading fans there.

True, think there will be a fair few at Basingstoke game!
I'm more local to Thatcham so was probably thinking of them more as they may miss out on a few tickets

Three sides don't look too bad, but the away end looks terrible. I've not been there since we played a league cup tie there about 30 years ago, before it got rebuilt.

1st team v Pompey
U23s v Basingstoke
u18s v Thatcham

Given the date this is the "big" home friendly for the summer as it is the weekend before the season starts.

Remember visiting in 1988 think we won by the solitary goal(possibly a Steve Moran penalty but bit fuzzy on that)
Also ,remember stopping at a pub in Gravesend and the irony of the name did not get missed.
