Wasn't an awful performance but those defending that really have a tinpot mindset. We were rubbish and got what we deserved. Hunt is a legend but he's a shit manager and I'm getting to the point that I'll celebrate his departure.

Less than 3 points and I have no sympathy for the stick he gets Tuesday for the players we have.

Sutekh Postecoglu is now available.

TBF this is Scottish level football so he might have a bit more success.

Shut up you jew hating oxf*rd

Absolutely no one even acknowledging this outrageous hateful post?

Jimmy is simple isn`t he?

I've got him on ignore Ian.

For someone who recently complained about "Lefties" infiltrating the TB, he does seem to be the only person on here who ever brings up politics.

A crass and ignorant comment from a crass and ignorant poster.

Snowflake Royal Create this many chances every week and we'll win at least 3-2.

what happens if we play as we have the rest of the games?

And that's just it. No matter how well we play we aren't getting the results. And it's yet another disappointing away result. The investors in the club will only be interested in results, and when you look at the table tonight it ain't pretty after 12games.. I thought Noel might be gone Monday but lose or possibly draw Tuesday and I'm convinced he will be.

I think this is the crux of the matter. This club is being run as a business now, meaning relegation is an unmitigated disaster for those putting their money in. They will want to be in the Championship within 3 years.

You can look at a good performance today, but you can't sugarcoat our league position after 12 games, especially when it's a good squad which an experienced manager could probably turn around pretty quickly. Hunt won't survive if he doesn't get minimum 4 points from the next 2. Wouldn't shock me if he's finished already.

Big similarities with Selles 2 years ago. But we had no hierarchy who would sack him, and no manager would have come to us in the state we were in. He got another chance he didn't deserve and, fair play, he turned it around. But the club situation gave him protection that Hunt doesn't have.

We are nothing like Madejski's club though we actually have some good players

I’m a bit in two minds. Caveat I missed the second half but first half was the best we’ve played this season

Not sure if it suggests we will keep playing like that and get results or whether we can play well and still not win games

Certainly signs of improvement today (for the first time imo) but being 2 points off bottom and 22nd place at this stage is utterly unacceptable along with some awful performances along the way

I don’t think Hunt could argue if he got the sack now but if he doesn’t we absolutely must get results in the next couple of games - 4 points min

But we created chances today and missed them. We weren't under constant pressure but still conceded twice. A team playing well and finding ways to lose is still a relegation candidate. The next 2 are at home against weaker opponents, so if we can keep up the performance from today we can win them, hopefully get a bit of confidence and find the composure to go with it. But if we can't time is up for Hunt.

Plus, it's not like we've been playing well. Today probably the best performance of the season. Wouldn't be surprised if we look nervous and lacklustre on Tuesday.

I agree with everything here.

Yeah same. All on the next 2 games really. Win and we'll look so much more comfortable. Lose and it looks really bad

I suspect Hunt has bought himself another game or two with the performance but suspect lose on Tuesday (or even draw) and he’ll be done

Not sure about Noel, but today is on a few players, we should have won that, Lane has no end product and Doyle is a lazy Oxford. Not sure what happened for their first goal seemed like we totally lost shape and had a back six

I did think we played quite well in it but we deserved to lose.

We've been in league two for eight years in our history. Anyone accepting that is tinpot and we deserve to be doing far better. Most of those who w e negative are lefty twats who disregard our potential as a club
