Haaland, Mbappe, or Kane

Interesting debate on the BBC Champions League highlights show last night about who of these three you would have in your team as a number 9 centre forward.

Stephen Warnock and Thomas Hitzlsperger both went with Kane due to the work he does dropping deep off the ball for the team whilst Guillem Balague said Mbappé due to his scoring and his chance creation contributions.

So who would you want in your team? Personally I was surprised none of them went for Haaland. For me Mbappe is actually a detriment to his team at club level as he is often either on the edge of the box not providing an option inside which means Vinicius is having to beat 3 or 4 players, like against Liverpool, or Mbappe is picking up the ball on the left taking up the space Vinicius operates in.

Whilst I appreciate Kane's off the ball work I would go for Haaland as I want my centre forward in the box or at least at the top of the attack ready to burst into the box.

FWIW I feel that the best team front 3 in football today are:-
Olise-Kane-Diaz

So, for a team player no.9 as part of a front 3 I would go for Kane.
For a solo target striker I would go for Haaland.
As a wide man striker I would go for Mbappe in a 3.
