I think he'll probably go into the Championship in the summer and good luck to him. He's played a lot of games and been pretty consistent for us so I think he can move on with no hard feelings.

Strangely enough I could seem him getting shifted to left-back, possibly by a slightly regressive sort of coach purely because he's a leftie and not very physical, but he may actually do well there. He would get up and down and look after the ball, and has a decent delivery on him too.

That probably makes sense given he's in the final year of his contract and there's the 50% sell-on clause Man Utd have.

It's reasonable he would want to leave. He's not been as effective in LR's system, but he's still clearly a talented player with potential still to develop. And a move to Wales would make the most sense. It would be a shame to lose him, but realistically, I don't see us going up any time soon, so it feels like his most likely way to take the next step in his career.

I would love to keep him, but I don't want Reading to be the reason why he never steps up a level, I still feel bad for Liam Moore.
