One things for sure, Leam, Mr Couhig and Co. will have very few excuses next season.
As I reckon, give him the summer and autumn term….even Sir Steve hardly ignited us to start with, and we as a team including management, have survived another season.

1970s conspiracy theory coming up……….
“Reading are always the nearly-men deliberately when it comes to promotion, we couldn't afford it”

Next season, we start off on better footings.

When Coppell came in we were in the Championship, we're league 1 now so you can't compare.

Subjective, who’s comparing?

When Richardson came in we were destined for Div 2, some might say

When Richardson came in we had just lost one game in eight, away to Cardiff in a game where we were the better side. O’Connor and Marriot were just back and getting match fit. Performances were improving.

What Richardson needs now is for Paul Cook to come in for a couple of years to set everything up for him.

Again.

whatevs, we were where we were, we are where we are now.
I’m no LR fan-boy, and as I said, he’ll have no excuses next season.
The managerial merry-go-round has really served us well hasn’t it?

That’s where we’ll be heading when Richardson gets sacked next October, (after the club has wasted another window and a pre-season on him).

We have a chairman and CEO to answer that if needed. We're in L1 so there should be plenty of options, whether an out of work Championship manager, an exciting L2 option or a Premier League coach looking for their first managerial role. We're not looking for a proven trophy winner.
Someone with a proven record of promotion would be good... oh. We've got one.
And judging by his post-match interview, he's happy to live off that one achievement (the other doesn't count IMO as he wasn't the manager).

His past achievement is proving to be about as useful to us as Will Keane's Golden Boot.
Assume that was at a car boot sale?

Big clear out needed, some players dont seem interested. Why can't Kelvin at least try to jump for the high ball, and why won't he chase back?

Supposedly Wing was slating the fans and manager on the train back today.

Can’t say I was too happy with some of the criticism from our fans today, especially given the booing started from the eighth minute…

I do think a lot of our fans are bellends, the football is a frustrating watch but not getting behind the team at 0-0 is oxf*rd bizarre. Also think too many are a bit smug about being Leam out early just because they are now getting justification from more fans turning, I may be on the same side now but I still think they're bellends for being Leam Out while he was getting good results.

Wouldn’t Wing have gone back on the team coach?

Would have thought so, seems like a bollocks rumour someone has spread on Twitter.

I can’t really understand the reasoning for going to a game and just being so angry and aggressive you want to start booing after 10 mins. Just seems to be the way nowadays. Pretty much puts me off going to away games when they used to be the best

Really, had the coach broken down?

Would you care to post these pictures or provide a link to them on this thread?

This isn’t the 1950s any more, so sorry if I’m having difficulty believing that in the 21st century a supposed professional football club is starting to send its players to and from games via the rail service in this country, where all sorts of things could happen, esp. if a performance hasn’t been seen as up to standard by some :?
