any chance that STAR could ask the club to publish approximate bandings of the numbers of fans within bands of 50 points say?

under50
50-100
100-150

etc etc

might be a good marketing ploy if they wabt to give these 20 points for the friendly, ihave just under 100 and would like to know where I stand relative to others totals.

We have asked before, but usually when there is an obvious problem like Arsenal.

We can certainly ask again.

Good idea this, love to know where we stand in the scheme of things - might also help cut the panic and set realistic reactions from people when tickets go on sale.

the club will not really want this to happen

If they announce we have 2500 tickets for game X then people within the top 2500 would expect to be in with a shout at a ticket

However i suspect the club will have to "pander" to the coporates as the fixtures become more attractive. So all the big sponsors will look t get a signifcant portion of the tickets that are available regardless of loyalty points.

The less you know about where you sit ine the rankings the easier it is to hide the fact larger and laregr numbers of tickets are going to major sponsors

I have asked for this information and I have been promised we'll have it once the ST sales are completed.

But, because these values are constantly changing, it will be rough orders or magnitude, rather than exact figures (for instance, x with under 10, Y with 10-50 and so on. )
