Get over it. If you don't like what they do, take your custom elsewhere.gazzer, loyal royal wrote:i don't know if STAR can help me on this, however i do have a rant from today:
the car parking today at the holiday inn was abismal. Firstly the price from the start of last season has gone up 120% from £4 to £10.
Also, you are no longer allowed to wear football shirts in the hotel area, ok thats fine, but it is not advertised anywhere that you cannot do this, and the ammount of boro fans i saw coming up to the bar and being turned away was unbelievable.
Surely, as an advertised area to park for all away fans, it should be said before hand that you are not allowed in that bar.
To cap it all off, if you pay a tenner to park, you may want to go for a drink before the game. if this bar isn't open, theres no way everyone can get into Callaghans.
is it possible for STAR to pass this onto RFC to clarify the stance of the holiday inn in relation to the parking there?
thanks
I use this facility (thank you), however it seemed very full is there really room for more?starliaison wrote:I certainly wish STAR had such influence over companies in the area around the stadium but unfortunately not.
We have done the next best thing and entered an agreement for our members to purchase a parking season ticket at Christ the King School for the immense amount of £80 for the season.
However it seems that there are less than 100 members who agree that it is good value and so there are places still available. Seeing the figures you quote it now seems even better value for money as well as a walk to keep you fit as well!
You will have to join STAR first and then see if there are any spaces still in the car park.CocoPops wrote:Starliason...
I am not yet a member of Star, but I want to join and buy carparking at the same time.
I asked previously, but had no reply.
Whats the quickest way of doing this in one go?
Apparently there is as much room again around the back so yes.Blue Blood wrote:
