Marshall is accidently now getting himself into a good position. If he is in charge for Middlesbrough and we pick up a win I think he gets it until the end of the season. Really would worry me in the January window though, can't see the owners trusting him with any cash. I'm coming round to Ainsworth. Experienced, good track record with limited resources and plays decent football. It would also appear he actually wants the job. I don't see the point in continuing to chase people who aren't 100% committed to joining.

If we were prepared to give Castro a €11m contract over 5 years then I can't see an alleged £1.5m buyout clause being an issue because Ainsworth wouldn't be on anything like that.

I would rather see Marshall continuing his good work with the academy.
