I do get it. What I don't get is why you think he thought any differently before signing the new contract or why you think I someone wants to treble his salary he won't be interested.
By signing the contract, the club and Kevin Doyle have clearing stated that a) he is not looking for a move in January and b) the club will not be selling him on the cheap in January.
If he hadn't signed the contract then Premiership clubs could believe Doyle was looking for a move or that we we looking to raise money. Thus the situation from an external point of view has clearly changed by him signing it.
