They'll almost certainly do the financial transactions in overnight batches - whether they do them all in one go, or whether they do it by bank/block number/customer's name is anyone's guess.

I'd not worry at this stage - except for the entertainment value of seeing RL work herself up into a frazzle!

As strained as the TicketZone systems were, I must also add my praise to the professionalism of the staff one I (eventually) got through. Took a while to process my requests but she did it without a hitch.

Everybody ignore RL by the way - she's got a history of making out her lot is the worst lot in the entire world when in fact she's no worse off than anyone else.

Money will go out this week, tickets will arrive this week, everyone just chill the pfuck out.

My money was taken Sunday pm, I ordered Thursday at 9am.

The transaction was showing as pending from Thursday till Sunday.

Not only have I got to hope TicketZone and Royal Mail deliver but now I've got a sodding volcano to take into account as I have to do a return trip to the US in this coming week.

I just hope the volcano realises its fellow countrymen and their club need all the support they can get!

Hi Maguire, several have already said, the people at TZ were professional and helpful - when you got to a human, me included. Agreed

But as JC says above their on-line system couldn't handle the demand - quite light actually by modern event standards - without crashing and creating significant ticketing errors (as well as obvious buyer time-wasting frustration). A poor system.

Got in to work this morning, and our receptionist said she'd had a message on the answerphone from the "Reading play-off office" saying my card payment hadn't been processed and to give them a call.

AAAAAAAH

Just managed to get through after a couple of hours (while also juggling talking to a Dane for an hour on another phone), and they had saved a seat "as near to my original one as possible". This turned out to be in the same block and row, and I've given them my mobile number in case there are any other problems.

Whereas the website failed to work for me on Saturday, after 1 45 minute wait on the phone I got through. 2 tickets to follow from a very helpful and professional assistant. Now for RL, sorry, Royal Mail to screw up the delivery

If you try and go on ticketzone, it tells you there are no more online sales, only over the phone... I guess to get rid of single tickets etc.

Tickets were only available via TZ today, not specifically on-line. Probably down to single seats or small groups which would be easier handled over the phone.
