- very entertaining match indeed. Town’ with a dramatic stoppage time winner (97’) to pinch it 4-3
– both sides looked very decent going forward and the visitors were hanging on rather having dominated the first period. Were 2-1 up at HT then fell behind as SB pressed more after the break
- result a bit harsh on ‘Bush’ but they will cause problems to many at this level
– a very direct running style from both flanks – was almost like they had a ‘Yak’ on the right AND left – MTFC did will to keep them out as well as they did for the most part. They are pretty decent on the counter-attack themselves so was a real end-to-end contest.
- Rebellion available in the bar but no food (Ram Shack was closed)
- meanwhile ‘Swords’ were beaten at Ascot by Westside
