Joking aside, I would rather sit down but I can live with standing throughout if I have to, but many fans even older than me just can't and smaller kids have no chance of seeing a thing if everyone's standing

I know this has been discussed many times before but it would be nice if clubs took a realistic approach and, without condoning standing, said something like "if you are inclined to stand repeatedly during the game, please choose block XX" to try and keep everyone happy

We queued up at the ticket office to specifically request front row seats so that my two boys will still be able to see the match if everyone is stood up

Only time I've stood for most of the match is the FA Cup Semi-final and that wasn't by choice we were well aware of the pre-designated signing sections and purposely chose seats outside that as while I certainly get involved, I'm not a stand all the time, don't stop cheering type of fan.

As it happened a group of lads in front of us stood all game pretty much, meaning I had to stand, meaning the people behind me had to stand and so on. It created a weird effect where most of the stand was sitting in normal play save this column of people where I was sat. It was a fun game though, loved it when we all went mental at the McCleary equaliser, even hugged a random for the first time.

I'll hope for more of the same in a more low-key cup match.

I always stand unless someone is sitting behind me and I specifically ask if them if they can see or not. Then I'll either sit or try to move.

For away games I never even check to see where my seat is, always just go and stand towards the back.
