This club has never done well with any form of sponsorship. Each time we've been in the PL we've had the lowest amount from shirt deals and shirt sponsors. I always though that was Nigel Howe's fault, but it's no better since he left.
It's local sponsorship as well though. You look around the stadium and there are loads of spaces that can be exploited with sponsors, and even advertising hoardings we have to create our own RFC ones to fill spaces.
