If you think the likes of Chennells are playing for Windsor instead of the team top of the SLP because of ambition you're more deluded than a West Ham fan.Royal Rother wrote:Morally wrong? Oh dear. The only person whose morals are remotely questionable here are those of the ex-Chairman.
If you cannot see past those blinkers to accept the real truth of what has happened / is happening at Stag Meadow (it's all there in my and TB's posts) then that's entirely your prerogative.
Amuse me for a moment - What mistakes have you identified that are being repeated by Windsor FC?
No secret there. He said that way back when the club was formed. He was always going to back the club financially in the first season and the plan has always been to get the 3G installed to enable the club to become self financing. This is old hat and common knowledge.Windsor aren't self sustaining, one year on from going out of business the new chairman has freely admitted he's 'funding the start up costs'
No I don't although having watched them a few times this year I do feel I could do a job.Terminal Boardom wrote:AP, does Kevin Stott say that the club will disappear if the plans don't take place? Of course he doesn't. There is no doubt that the 3G and Gym projects will provide long term financial stability for the club and the sooner they are in place, the better. IMHO, the 3G is the key. Get this up and running then self sustainability will be there. At least we are not in the same boat as Guildford City. A club with no facilities bankrolled by a Premier League footballer. Funny how no-one makes a noise about them. And why have Jake Parsons, Andrew Fagan and Michael Chennells joined Windsor? For the same reason why I am there!

Out of curiosity, do you play for Didcot Town?
That's because you are incredibly blinkered.Alan Partridge wrote:If you think the likes of Chennells are playing for Windsor instead of the team top of the SLP because of ambition you're more deluded than a West Ham fan.Royal Rother wrote:Morally wrong? i find it utterly hilarious how pro RFC and finance you are and make such a big deal about how Reading do things the right way and self sustaining is the onyl option on the Team board yet you actively follow and support a club ran in the opposite way. Brilliant.
You are right. It isn't because of ambition. More to do with enjoying playing football again.Alan Partridge wrote:
