Standing all game in y25 in recent games has been awesome! If everyone in a particular area agrees to stand all game stewards can do bugger all about it. And in fairness they seem to be bugging standers less and less which is making for a much better atmos all round

The play off was due to exceptional circumstances though. I would thing the safety stewards were briefed to relax the rules on this occasion.

I've found standing has been easier this season, definitely the last couple of games I went to, Cardiff and Derby stood all game

Not just the play offs....since quite a few games before the play offs the stewards are a bit more chilled.....keep up with the standing and keep raising the volume!

Yep as long as you are not standing on the stairs the stewards seem to have given up trying to get the top of Y24/5 to sit down, which is nice.

They still insist on moving people who sit underneath the video screen. I don't understand the need for this when often there is a no go zone for the away support.

Was ok until the very end of the piece when it was completely undermined by the "but at Anfield they'll never go back" comment.

The implication being that terracing caused the Hillsborough (wrong) and that Liverpool fans don't support safe standing (wrong).

Saw on skysports news on Friday that a rugby league team (st Helens I think) were moving into a new purpose built stadium. I happen to notice in the report that behind the goals/posts (or whatever they call them) both 'stands' were seatless with standing barriers. This is a bowl stadium similar to ours -but on a lot smaller scale. Hopefully if it is proved in a new rugby arena they may relate it to football.

No. I've seen non-league football, it's much worse than the terrible stuff we're putting on display at the moment.

I doubt it. Other than when they share with football clubs, there's almost always been terracing at Rugby.

This is where the Bradford Bulls play (and Reading did once, on a very cold day in the 80s)

Terracing is commonplace, but apparently only becomes dangerous when the ball isn't egg-shaped.
