Do you think there'll be offers to John Lewis employees to come and support Reading too? I have a friend who works for them who says she might come with me one day, but so far I haven't been able to persuade her.

Very possibly, JLP have a number of really good benefits for their staff.

Well, she says she'll come and see us play Southampton, so hopefully there'll be something set up by then. I asked her if I could have a discount on a team shirt, but she said she'd only give me 10p towards it.

Don't know if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but would this possibly lead to John Lewis in the town centre possibly taking on some RFC merchandise? I know Debenhams had/have stock in their Oracle branch, but surely the wise thing for the Club and JLP would be to have merchandise in JL. Should work out financially as it could have been in the sponsorship contact that they will recieve X amount of RFC goods to sell in their store, with RFC getting Y% of sales and JLP getting Z%
