He's not the best player in the world. He's more of a show off. He's only intrested in money and he can't see past the fact that Madrid aren't very good. The best players in the world are the ones who can do everything, e.g Gerrard. Not a player who dives,sulks and is a dick.

for a player who has expressed his wish to be able to talk to Real Madrid for the last two years, I think Ferguson had no choice. £80m can rebuild his squad, but Ronaldo can not be replaced.

He single handedly won games for United last year. The game against Villa at home he was superb, and if it was Macheda's goal he would have got all the plaudits.

It'll be sad to see him go, as in my view, the premiership won't be the same. It's always good to see the best players play in your country's league, week in week out. A big loss, but in United do get Ashley Young and Ribery it'll be good for them.

Now, with UNited releasing the fee, expect over the odds prices paid for players moving into OT, much like Chelsea when Abramovich burst onto the scene

Bleating on about history and forgetting the reality of being a once great club no longer capable of consistently winning trophies.

The biggest shame in this to me is that it just highlights how much mis-information and down right lieing the clubs roll out without an apparent care in the world for the extent that they're misleading their fans.

It seems pretty clear that this was a deal that was all agreed last season but all we've heard from Utd, Ronaldo and their puppet media contacts is about how he either wouldn't be going or that it was possibly something that might happen.

Unfortunately it's not a shock that they treat their paying fans this way.

As for next season, Fergie has shown that he can rebuild teams and replace key players time and time again. I've no doubt losing Ronaldo will hit them in some ways, but in others it might will be a bit of a blessing.

I still wouldn't be surprised if Nani was given more of a chance than people expect next season and if he then grows into a bit more (not that he'll be up to Ronaldo's standards, just that he'll start to grow up, deliver more and perform more consistently).

Can't be bothered to re-read all of that, so I'll give a very brief summary:

Happy that Ronaldo's leaving the Premiership. Oh and argues that he isn't exactly the greatest player ever. Makes the point that he's quite arrogant to believe that he is.
