04 Aug 2010 18:15Just 700 in the month leading up to the start of the season. we do not compare favourably to Norwich.Wycombe Royal wrote:If true that is a very good number.......yappy wrote:In the EP that we've now sold just shy of 11,000.

04 Aug 2010 19:26Yeah, but there are an awful lot fewer alternative things to do in Norfolk. Going to the football or shagging your sister is about all there is .....Harpers So Solid Crew wrote:Just 700 in the month leading up to the start of the season. we do not compare favourably to Norwich.Wycombe Royal wrote:If true that is a very good number.......yappy wrote:In the EP that we've now sold just shy of 11,000.

05 Aug 2010 09:35Not really in a position to comment on whether selling 700 STs in the month leading up to start of season is good or not then!Harpers So Solid Crew wrote:Royal Lady wrote:Who cares who we compare favourably or not to. 11,000 STs at a time where there is still a pretty tough economic climate is very good. Considering I would miss 8 games once again I decided not to.

05 Aug 2010 18:26Because for some reason for many years they seem to have got ticket selling down to an art. And it is not more than we had before we went up to the Prem, it was only when we sold the half ST early than normal in 2005 that we really had sell outs week in week out, the clamour was amazing.. At least Boyd Butler was able to see the sense of offering the half ST early, and acted on the suggestion.brendywendy wrote:

its much more than we had before we went up to the prem, and thats all that counts

it was about the most expensive season ticket clubs offer (non hosp areas)
We came out about middle of 92 league teams.
Only season tickets cheaper in the Champ and Prem were Wigan, Blackpool and Barsnley.
Shows we actually get a pretty good deal

06 Aug 2010 09:33Sho9ws what you know about the north really, many areas have much higher disposable income. Tho i would agree that Burnley is an arse end, tho I have never been there.weybridgewanderer wrote:Wigan, Blackpool and BurnleyNorth Eaat royal wrote:not sure if this has been mentioned but there was a good article in 4-4-2 about season ticket prices.

so the only tickets championship or premiership season tickets cheaper than ours are at northern clubs, in the arse end of nowhere, where there is no work and no money.

06 Aug 2010 09:36There will be, Man Utd, Liverpool and increasingly Man City are more interested in their "football tourists"Silver Fox wrote:And there must be a bunch of northern clubs where seasontickets are dearer than ours?
