Not really in a position to comment on whether selling 700 STs in the month leading up to start of season is good or not then! Maybe there are a lot of fans in your position. In any case, a total of approx 11,000 ST holders for this year is still pretty good in my book.

Perfectly reasonable to comment, the take up shows that sadly the club did not claw back the ST holders, either all(or most) from last season or the season before that decided against the new lower prices, which price wise I believe is a very good offer.

The reason may be the financial climate, or it could be that folk did feel a little bit taken advantage of for a few seasons, there has been enough comments from HNA? posters that seem to hold that view over the last few years..

As it happens I could well afford to buy, and the team at the moment is much more like the make up that I would prefer, a decent level of basic unknowns all working together, but as already said would miss 8 games, so a no brainer for me.

why are you comparing to naarich?

its much more than we had before we went up to the prem, and thats all that counts

Because for some reason for many years they seem to have got ticket selling down to an art. And it is not more than we had before we went up to the Prem, it was only when we sold the half ST early than normal in 2005 that we really had sell outs week in week out, the clamour was amazing.. At least Boyd Butler was able to see the sense of offering the half ST early, and acted on the suggestion.

Only season tickets cheaper in the Champ and Prem were Wigan, Blackpool and Barsnley.

Shows we actually get a pretty good deal

I love this time of year when annually we are for some reason compared to Norwich wrt season tickets, I'm just hoping someone can get in a mention of whichever midlands club (it's normally Wolves or WBA) has allowed half a dozen children to snap up 35 quid STs, proving once again how disgracefully we treat the next generation of fans

Sho9ws what you know about the north really, many areas have much higher disposable income. Tho i would agree that Burnley is an arse end, tho I have never been there.

There will be, Man Utd, Liverpool and increasingly Man City are more interested in their "football tourists"

Blackburn and Bolton its premier league so maybe fair enough

But if I was a fan of Preston, Blades, Boro or similar I doubt I would be happy to hear that Reading in the affluent south had cheaper season tickets.
