I'm certainly not holding myself out as a paragon of parenting, no. But it really is as simple as it sounds - if you think the price is too high then don't buy it. If enough people think so then the club will lose money and adjust the price in future years.RoyalBlue wrote:Could be that REALROYAL and others are very good parents and will say 'no' to their kids. That doesn't mean that they enjoy doing it, that it is easy to do and won't cause some ructions in the short term. But then most good parents would realise that!

What would you like to see in the new kit?
a player with talent who can score a skip full of goals and give every ounce of effort for the club

Its not as if there will be any real investment in the playing staff. I feel we are being ripped off..
The club is offering it for sale - but it's not compulsary to purchase it.
If you feel you can't say "no" to your kids then I suggest you need to re-evaluate your parenting skills.

26 Jun 2009 21:37So why buy the kits all at the same time? What's wrong with one per month?REALROYAL wrote:Id like to see a boycot by the fans for the new RFC shirt.. £10 off is no big deal when you have 3 kids all as season ticket holders. Plus short & socks..

Isn't there a FL regulation that says that the shirt numbers must be on a plain background? Therefore, little likelihood of complete hoops. I share your sentiments though.Barry the bird boggler wrote:And hoops, not holding my breath for either though.
Only read your post Rawls....life is too short to read the rest.Rawlie19 wrote:I think it's a pretty good deal this year tbh. £10 off already, plus a further £10 off for ST holders. £25 for a brand new home shirt? Never thought I'd see the day.
1 thread on a new home kit might be nice (I don't mean a cotton thread, but a HNA? thread clearly).SteveRoyal wrote:Saturday 11th July.

meh. They want to make money. I have no problem with it really. I do have a problem with people who moan that they're fleecing them with releasing another shirt so soon for so much money. There's no obligation to buy clearly (that's not a dig at you AS). I wasn't going to buy the kit this year but if it is indeed fully hooped and £25 then I think I will.AthleticoSpizz wrote:Only read your post Rawls....life is too short to read the rest.Rawlie19 wrote:I think it's a pretty good deal this year tbh. £10 off already, plus a further £10 off for ST holders. £25 for a brand new home shirt? However, why have the Club deemed it necessary to change the kit after only one season, afterall, its not as if we have to meet the rules of the Prem or a change of sponsership or anything?
Sure its all been asked before, but so what?
What happened to the two-year per kit....... gentlemens agreements?

26 Jun 2009 22:09I'd be happy to bet any amount of money you want to wager on that.....Terminal Boardom wrote:If you mean fully hooped that the hoops go round the back of the shirt? Forget it. Wont happen. FL regs want the backs plain for the numbers.
I thought that was a Premier League stipulation.Terminal Boardom wrote:Isn't there a FL regulation that says that the shirt numbers must be on a plain background? No, there isn't. Hoops all the way around would most definitely be allowed.Terminal Boardom wrote:Isn't there a FL regulation that says that the shirt numbers must be on a plain background?
