Ian Royal Church will be an excellent support striker for a more prolific number 9. His movement is brilliant and I actually think his passing and vision is pretty good as well. His only weaknesses are his awareness in terms of staying on side and his finishing.
His finishing is already improving with the confidence of playing and scoring. His shooting was never that bad, just lacked that little something to turn a fairly well hit shot into a very well hit shot and goal.
I agree in essence about him being a good foil for another forward who can actually score goals, no problem with that.
Not sure I'd say his vision and passing are a real strength as yet though. We've seen far too many occassions where he's failed to see a pretty clear opportunity to put in a team mate, or just cocked it up when trying to pass, or just taken what was probably the wrong option to prevent an attack developing.
He's still doing ok though, and his development is continuing at a pretty good rate, but he's still lacking in something to make him a bit more effective though.
