I've been saying Wolves will be safe mid-table next season if they can buy their loan players but tbh they look as easy to work out as Stam was.

It does depress me that all you need to do well in this league is be well organised, fit, have one creative midfielder, one tackler and two half decent strikers.

Burton and Bolton could be interesting, both play each other and one of the other teams in it. Bolton lose both and they're in big big trouble... Burton win both and they suddenly have a chance. If they'd beaten Brum this weekend.... phew that could have been huge.

I wanted Burton to beat Brum. It would still have meant Burton were eight points behind us with a much worse goal difference. Given Brum have such a tough run in it would have increased our chances of finishing above them.

Thanks The Reverend for posting the remaining fixtures. It’s still nip and tuck. We are not safe yet but worth pointing out Barnsley still have four away games to play.

Brum have just come through a kind run of games, and admittedly have picked up points, but from now on in their run in looks very tough and they would have been reckoning on 3 points yesterday. Just realised Bolton have lost their last three, including a six pointer against Brum, and they have some tough games coming up, they could easily go down now.

I think 4 points will definitely do it as cannot see all three sides below us getting to 47 points.

So beat Sunderland or Ipswich and one other point somewhere.

Yes agreed. That Brum result is a big two points dropped for them. They are very much in the mix. Four points should be enough especially as our goal difference is favourable compared to the others.

To be honest if I were to pick any of the top sides I would want to play next it would be Bristol city. they are badly out of form right now, I would fancy Birmingham to get something there.
