Madrid had a bad start to the season. They seem to have got their sh+t together. I can't see passed them. Barca's defence will be their undoing.Sanguine wrote:I think the semis will be the end of the road - it looks like Barca, Bayern or Real Madrid to come. Agreed though that this tie looks done, City are the only side to have scored in more of their games this season than Liverpool. Can't see Ederson keeping a clean sheet.Stranded wrote:
Liverpool will score at the Etihad so this tie is all but over. They could actually go on to win the thing.
Maybe, but Messi running at Lovren doesn't bear thinking about.Ascotexgunner wrote:Barca's defence will be their undoing.
Where's VAR when you need itBR0B0T wrote:was the Sané goal offside?
Came off Milner.
I f#cking hate Liverpool. Would have loved City to have turned em over tonight.....but then the city players were c*nts trying to get Mane sent off. Ideal scenario. Madrid in the semis, and if that fails Munich in the final. I couldn't bare them to win it.double d wrote:A Roma v Liverpool final would be the neutrals wet dream
I don't particularly like Klopp but obvs h8 LiverpoolJohn Madejski's Wallet wrote:Like Klopp hate Liverpool

Shades of the Kane goal at Anfield. Apparently the distinction, and why the Kane goal stood, and Sane's was correctly disallowed, was that Lovren's intervention against Spurs was a deliberate attempt to play the ball, which meant that Kane was no longer 'interfering' or in an offside position. The ball deflected off Milner, but there was no deliberate attempt by him to play the ball, therefore Sane remained active, and offisde.BR0B0T wrote:was the Sané goal offside?

I hate all these teams, so this week has been excellent. It would have been fantastic tonight seeing Real Madrid lose, but it was even better seeing Juventus mess it up at the end with the help of an idiot referee. Hopefully Bayern Munich or Liverpool or Real can oxf*rd up badly or be cheated horribly in the Semis.Ascotexgunner wrote:I f#cking hate Liverpool. Not a massive fan of Pep but seen this line a lot and can't help but find it a crock of crap. If Messi was the key and not Pep then Barca would be defending their 7th straight CL.BR0B0T wrote:Pep isn't quite so gr8 without Messi in his team
