If Swansea get Graham Potter I'll be highly jealous. Thought he was perfect for us and just what we were looking for.
I'll lump a load of dosh they'll go back up with him in charge. He's a good fit for that club.

Well unlike the bore fest Clement will serve up next season, Potter has shown he's not afraid to play attacking football. Swansea have some decent players that can play that style if they can keep them. The fact Potter has started a team from scratch and won domestic trophies within 6 years of that club starting up, and had success in Europe including beating Arsenal at the Emirates, suggests to me he has fresh ideas and and a good footballing brain.

Its not so much about the attacking, its fearless element as well. Our players look like rabbits in headlights when their on the ball most of the time. They can't wait to get rid of it.
Search YOUTUBE Graham Potter Masterclass. The way he talks and understands the game and studies it is exceptional. He reads weaknesses and strengths. I just don't get that from Clement or most English managers. This guy could easily manage a PL side. He has learnt his trade the hard way.....from the bottom....

Ostersunds do play a nice brand of passing for all. Pleasing on the eye. Potter is untested though in the demanding environs of Championship football. Let’s see how he gets on.

OK not gonna labour the point about Potter, but the guy has cleaned out a turgid Swansea side that was failing and built a new young side with no money and judging by tonight they look very exciting. Their front three look exciting and there's a spirit there already.......Sigh!

What was interesting about the first batch of results was the tightness. Only one match with a GD of more than one, and plenty of draws.

I think that’s fairly symptomatic of the division though, not a huge amount between most sides and the ones that do well are always invariably the squads who use the least amount of players and manage to string a few results together.

I think we are noticing a slight shift though with your Newcastle/Wolves/Stoke and an unprecedented quality of players that they bring to the division.

Match fitness levels worse post break = more opportunities late on when fatigued

Think ours is a good example of that.

Don't they just. Their manager maybe a lunatic but I get the feeling this guy might be the real deal for them.
It also questions Stoke and WBA and do their PL players have what it takes to have a gruelling season in the EFL. I'm putting that out there though.

Yeah they've fallen back and settling for the counter attack. They've been really good. The fact they have a plan B and can look comfortable in both systems says a lot.

I imagine Leeds will start well, their fans will decide they'll win the league and be playing Champions League football within three years as is their right, they'll then stutter, then go on another good run where there's talk amongst their fans of them doing a Leicester next season, only for them to fall apart, sack their manager and finish 10th.

Leeds looked good the ground was buzzing, noise terrific how do they do it. when they played at the Mad last season they hardly stopped singing. Gave inces lad plenty of stick, till he sulked off.
